This article deals with navigating a spacecraft from lunar orbit to Low Earth Orbit. Leaving the moon for getting back to Earth or executing a Lunar-LEO transfer is not a trivial maneuver, as you not only want to leave the sphere of influence of the moon, but also want to enter a special orbit which brings you back to LEO.

This maneuver is in general form called a "eject and transfer to a lower orbit", as you leave the sphere of influence of a celestial body (See: Eject maneuver) and additionally lower your orbit from the orbit of the parent body to a lower periapsis.
