m is т[edit]

I am sorry for some errors, i am just doing some simple translations using a dictionary. And i learned very late during the night from a (exile-russian) friend, that m in some russian fonts actually means т. i also translate currently some documents about the soyuz, how would the copyright look like if i place the very rough translation directly on the wiki? And would it be welcome? --Urwumpe 14:38, 26 July 2006 (MSD)

  • I've never heard of such older fonts, even though I've been using Russian computers since DOS. Regarding the translation, I believe the same laws apply to the translation as the original, i.e. if you can't post the original then you can't post a translation. Can you tell me where the original document comes from? --RaMan 18:43, 26 July 2006 (MSD)
    • The original comes from a russian homepage, was written by tiapchenko, the designer of the soyuz cockpit. I am not sure about the original, how it was distributed, but i can't find any as detailled description of the user interface as in this document, which is pretty bad, as its only in russian yet. --Urwumpe 20:14, 26 July 2006 (MSD)
      • If you post a link to the original, I'll try to find some mention of distribution conditions, or perhaps an email address to ask for permission. Otherwise I don't think we can legally post a translation here, but I'll check with Timwi. --RaMan 13:01, 27 July 2006 (MSD)
        • Here is the link to the original file [1]. Lets have a look at it. --Urwumpe 15:44, 27 July 2006 (MSD)
