"Centro de Lançamento de Alcântara (CLA)"Alcantara Launch Center

The CLA is Brazil’s spaceport. Located near the equator, it has excellent conditions for rocket launches.

Orbiter's object info includes a Pad 1 but there is no actual Lpad at that location. ILS frequency is 127.85 MHz. If you land there, you'll be sitting on the water.

Pads and runways

  • VLS pad with the associated Mobile Integration Tower - used for VLS and VLM rockets.
  • universal pad - used for VS-40 and VS-30.
  • Runway 09/27: 2600x45 m, lighted, asphalt, ICAO / IATA: SNCW
