Hi, i have just started to create a special portal for companies, who use orbiter or want to make use of it. i think it could be quite useful. I want to link from this portal to general topics like making meshes and addons, but also to topics like how to record video clips.

I think, a commercial company has slightly different interests into orbiter than pleasure and does also not always have the insight into all the tools available, which might be useful for them.

Having a portal available which could be used for collecting experiences should be a good support for Orbiter, especially since feedback from commercial companies and maybe even support from them for improving orbiter would be in everybodies interest.

The structure would still need to be defined, but i think thats a minor problem. I will link to this page directly from our main page. Its still a lot to do, lets get it on. --Urwumpe 14:25, 1 April 2006 (MSD)

A good idea

I like the idea; Orbiter is pretty mature software and could be useful a lot of people if they knew about it. Have you seen the Flash demo by DanSteph? (on the Orbiter Videos page) Quite impressive.

No, i just mean that we create a special article (this one), which acts as a portal to the articles interesting for companies. No special web site needed, especially, as most of the stuff interesting for companies will be interesting for gamers. --Urwumpe 10:36, 10 April 2006 (MSD)
