Spacecraft.dll is an add-on framework for Orbiter, which allows a developer to create add-on vessels of many different degrees of complexity by using simple text-based configuration files which the module reads. It is a required component for many add-ons, and allows developers to quickly create add-on vessels for Orbiter without the need for a custom DLL.

Spacecraft4

The most recent version is Spacecraft4.dll. The module has been renamed for the current version, allowing for changes to the input file format and new features. The latest version supports attachments, advanced aerodynamics, virtual cockpit, animations and Orbitersound 4.0. It can be found at the Pappy's Hangar.

Updates

Although Vinka does not appear to be continuing work on the add-on, a replacement project has been started to make the spacecraft4 compatible with Orbiter 2016. Downloads and discussion on its development can be found at this page on the Orbiter Forums.
