Spacecraft.dll allows a developer to create complicated add-on vessels through manipulation of simple text-based configuration files. It's a required component for many simpler add-ons.

The most recent version is Spacecraft3.dll. The module has been renamed for the current version, allowing for changes to the input file format and new features. The latest version supports attachments, advanced aerodynamics, virtual cockpit, animations and Orbitersound 3.5.
