In this aspect, the IDS does not differ from the REA of general-purpose control systems (CS), and therefore there are no limitations for microminiaturization of it - there are no limitations in weight and dimensions.

Miniaturization, as a method of reducing the mass and dimensions, adopted in the REA for wide use, is practically inapplicable in EI, since the size of the OU, for example, depends on the capabilities of the human motoric apparatus (sizes of fingers, hands, legs, etc.). The dimensions of the selected COs depend on the size of the information displayed on them. The size of symbols or inscriptions depends on their distance from human eyes, etc.
