Orbit displays the reference body, the ship's orbit and if a target is selected, the target's orbit, as well as a number of parameters of each orbit. There are a number of options which can be selected while running the MFD.

 +
== Options ==
 +
REF: Selects the reference body. When starting the MFD, Orbit selects the body which has a gravitational influence greater than 50%, by default. The pilot can then selecte another body. This is indicated on the top left of the display as 'Orbit'.

[[Category: Templates]]
+
AR: When selected, Orbit returns to the default reference body if another body was selected.
 +

 +
TGT: Target body or ship. When Selected, the target's orbit appears in the display's graphics and a list of orbital parameters on the right side of the MFD.
 +

 +
NT: Deselects the target.
 +

 +
MOD: This button scrolls through the available display modes: body and orbits only, Data only, or both.
 +

 +
FRM: Selects which plane is projected onto the spring. Ecliptic (ECL) is default.
 +

 +
PRJ: Selects which plane is projected onto the spring, Ecliptic (ECL) or ship's orbit (SHP).
 +

 +
DST: Allows four orbital parameters to display as radius from center of the body or as distance from the surface of the body.
 +

 +
HUD: Causes the Glass Cockpit Heads-up-Display to orbit parameters.
