This article deals with navigating a spacecraft from [[Moon|lunar]] [[Orbit|orbit]] to [[Low Earth Orbit]]. Leaving the moon for getting back to Earth or executing a '''Lunar-LEO transfer''' is not a trivial maneuver, as you not only want to leave the [[Sphere of influence|sphere of influence]] of the moon, but also want to enter a special orbit which brings you back to LEO.

This maneuver is in general form called a "eject and transfer to a lower orbit", as you leave the sphere of influence of a [[celestial body]] (See: [[Eject maneuver]]) and additionally lower your orbit from the orbit of the parent body to a lower [[periapsis]].
