This category is limited to [[add-ons]], which are already built or based on todays technology and knowledge. A good indicator can be the in service date: If it's further in the future than ten years, you can assume it is not realistic, but almost possible science fiction. Realistic should also be regarded as a completely realistic system. A spacecraft can be 99% based on realistic technology, but if it contains a single piece of technology, which counters todays technology base, it is '''not''' a realistic system.

If it was never build or is planned, include the template <nowiki>{{ANCRA}}</nowiki> (Add-on nominated for category realistic add-ons) and explain your request in the talk page for the article.
